YellowKorner Florida Fort Lauderdale

YellowKorner Florida Fort Lauderdale PHOTOGRAPHY - ART - LIMITED EDITION The same enthusiasm to share animates the YellowKorner teams.

'To make photographic proofs accessible, because photography permits the large number of prints that is logically difficult to eliminate,'
Christian Caujolle, founder of Agence VU

YellowKorner was created in 2006 by two friends, Alexandre de Metz and Paul-Antoine Briat, both lovers of photography from a young age. The YellowKorner concept is very simple: to introduce the greatest photographers fr

om all over the world and to increase the number of copies of their work to make it accessible to as many collectors as possible. So, instead of offering 10 prints at 5,000 dollars, YellowKorner chooses to publish 500 at 100 dollars.

- Promoting yesterday, today and tomorrow's photography talent -
YellowKorner wants to provide a space for expression for talent from different photographic trends whilst maintaining high artistic standards. Promising contemporary artists are therefore found alongside the big names in photography (Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Dorothea Lange, Man Ray, Jean Dieuzaide, Bert Stern), or even period photographers (the primitive Japanese Kimbei, Léon Gimpel). For YellowKorner, they have exceptionally agreed to increase the number of prints from a selection of their works in order to offer you affordable prices. These prints are exclusive to YellowKorner.

- Top quality photographic prints provided with a certificate of authenticity -
All YellowKorner photographs are prints produced by a renowned professional laboratory, numbered and supplied with a certificate of authenticity under the artist's watchful eye. YellowKorner pays great attention to the development of the prints so that the power of the photograph and all the richness of the artist's work are captured. With the artist's consent, the same photograph is available in one or several formats (20x30cm, 24x36cm, 60x90cm and 100x150cm) with a finish agreed by the artist. Each format has its own corresponding limit (open edition, limited editions with 30, 200 or 500 copies).

- Actual exhibition space and an online gallery -
With galleries in Europe and in the United States, YellowKorner presents a wide panorama of contemporary photography worldwide. Each of the galleries responds to the primary demand of YellowKorner's founders: to make these exhibition spaces a place for the public and artists to meet and exchange ideas, places of culture. To do this, the galleries organise events, previews where photographers and celebrities come in the spirit of sharing, lessons so that the public can discover photographic art. Completely at your service, enthusiastic and experienced, our gallery staff offer are there to help during your visits, to guide you in your discoveries. The entire YellowKorner collection of photographs (hundreds of works) is presented to you on the YellowKorner.com website in all formats (from 20x20cm to 120x180cm), available immediately or by individual order. You will also find exclusive contents (detailed biographies, interviews with artists, the history of photography) and new additions to our collection each week. Our goal: to introduce you to and make you love art photography.

Michel Rajkovic
France

After a few years of practice in color, Michel Rajkovic opted, in 2007, for black and white as mode of artistic expression. Through his photographs, Michel Rajkovic opens a door on another world. In this search of evasion, he utilizes photography as a support of the imaginary and light as revelator. His domains of predilection are marine landscapes that he treats in a purified manner, placing just a few elements here and there, leaving liberty for the spectator to imagine a universe. He carried away in 2008 the international first prize in the «Prix PX3 of Paris Photography» in the category of Fine Art. The same year, in order to share a vision of Fine-Art, with 7 other photographers, he created the collective «8reg’ART».

Steve Hiett
United Kingdom

Regarding his work and fashion photography in general, Steve Hiett says: “Photography is recording what you’re seeing. Fashion photography is portraying what you’re thinking about. It’s a process built up based on your imagination.” In the light of this quotation, it is clear that there are close links between fashion photography and contemporary art. This cross-sectoriality allows the photographer to broaden his creative field. By combining aesthetic research, eroticisation of the female form and references to narrative cinema, the English fashion photographer creates work influenced by the codes of contemporary art. The Maeght Gallery did not fail to recognise this and organised, from 2009, the first solo exhibition in a gallery setting of his large-format compositions in colour.

Good Afternoon YellowKorner Fans.
I will be off tomorrow but still want to keep you in the loop of great pieces. Fun Facts Friday will be a day early.

It is beautiful here in Florida and today I am thinking of the beach. The funny thing is I am not even a beach person. However, I do appreciate the peaceful serenity of the water and the atmosphere.

Hope this piece inspires you to go take a walk on the beach and relax from the stress of what is known as life.

Enjoy!

Ludwig Favre
France

Born in Senlis in 1976, Ludwig Favre now lives and works in Paris. Art history, multimedia and audiovisual studies trained the photographer's eye, sensitive to the reproduction of picturesque landscapes. He has traveled widely, particularly between France and the United States. In New York, he allows himself to be surprised by the stunning infrastructure of the city and, whenever he gets the chance, reveals a vision oscillating between dynamism and serenity. Particularly attracted to life by the seaside, the photographer has also traveled off the Côte d’Argent. There, he photographed all the splendor of the seaside, lulled by the soft morning light and the gentle sound of waves.

Happy Beautiful Friday.

I want to wish everyone that celebrates whatever holiday in the next couple of days a Happy And Healthy celebration..Hope it is best and filled with wonderful memories.

Today for Fun Facts Friday, I want to highlight Olivier Lavielle. We are having a wonderful exhibition of his works at our gallery till the end of April. Stop by and be moved by his stunning works.

Hope to see you!

Olivier Lavielle
France

Oliver Lavielle is a fan of the period between the ‘30s and the ‘70s. His world is full of jazz, swing, blues, rock ‘n’ roll and a hint of disco. Untouched by the aesthetics of the period, his subjects are best expressed exclusively in black and white. These dynamic compositions are inspired by Hollywood style. As a world traveler, Asia and the United States have inspired him. As a private pilot, his aircraft photos express the intimate, special relationship that he has with his toys, as he likes to call them. Entering his world, is a little like travelling in time, and as Olivier is also a flight crew member for an airline company, only one thing remains to be said: "Welcome on board!"

I also need to wish one of our favorite photographers a very Happy and Healthy Birthday...
Happy Birthday Laurent Baheux photographer!!!!
Here is one of my favorite pieces by him.
Enjoy!!!!!

Laurent Baheux
France

Laurent Baheux was attracted to journalism and editing at first, rapidly discovering a passion for photography and becoming a self-taught photographer. His devoted practice and his knowledge of the sporting world opened the doors to the top press photography agencies. From then on, he covered the main international competitions and channelled his energy towards conditions of speed and extreme demand. He has always been fascinated by Africa. From 2002, during a visit to Tanzania, he began private work on the wild fauna, its beauty, strength, roughness and great fragility. He chose black and white, with its play on shadow, light and contrast, to immortalise rare and ephemeral scenes of nature, constantly trying to sublimate the animals, to capture the magnificence of their attitudes, the emotion of their look… Through this authentic quest, Laurent wants to show the vividness of these species which are still alive, but more menaced than ever, and the immense richness that they represent for the planet. In the continuity of his photographic commitment, he accompanies and supports the deeds of organisations which work for the protection of nature and the preservation of biodiversity. He is also the author of Land of lions, a sensitive and moving work in black and white, like an ode to wild life...
