It’s still freezing in New Jersey and I’ve been daydreaming about .

This morning with Zac and his friends was so much fun. They went for a swim in the ocean before getting ready. Just fully committing to the chaos of swimming in red flag waters and sunburn potential hours before the wedding.

At one point, Dom turned to me and said "hold my camera" then ran in to join them as they all yelled DOMMMMMMM!! and threw their arms in the air 🤣🤣

Once we were back in the hotel room, Zac's brother pulled out a koozie with Zac's face on it that said
“Once you go Persian there’s no other version.”

10/10 confidence. 10/10 group. Would 100% trade this cold gloomy weather in a heartbeat to relive Kelsey and Zac's wedding weekend in Mexico again.

Dom was looking through old photo albums last night and he showed me photos of his parents I'd never seen before. This one is my favorite. Not sure exactly when it was taken, but it had to have been the 70s-80s when they were still living in Toronto.

Antonio turned 80 on Valentine's Day, but he asked us not to post about it that day because he said "80 is too heavy."

I'd never seen this photo before, but it's one of my favorites of him and Francesca. I see so much in this one photo. Happiness, pride, excitement. I wonder, were they celebrating something? I wonder who took the photo.

Photos like these are the reason why I became a photographer. Having photos of my grandparents and my mom when they were younger fills me with so much gratitude for the photographer who snapped the shot. I knew from an early age I wanted to pay-it-forward and pass on this feeling and the gift of photos to others.

Someday I hope your kids and grandkids are looking back lovingly at photos like this that I took of you.

I converted this one to black and white, but swipe for the color corrected version and the original in all its red/magenta time worn glory.

P.S. print your photos, and write on the back

Ciara + Joe eloped in Paris, then came home to celebrate with a reception in Asbury Park.

I’ll always love couples who choose what feels right instead of what’s expected.

They got ready together. I’d love to see more couples do this!

No separation. No staged first look.

Just calm energy. Fully present. Side by side.

At one point, her sister was on the floor doing a quick hem because the lining was peeking out past the sequins.

No panic. No pressure. Just laughter and a handful of safety pins.

Would you get ready together?

This is one you're gonna want to swipe through 👉🏼

Elly + Ryan's wedding day was full of fun, tender moments, and explosions of color. From the invitations, the bridesmaids dresses and the .aura_ florals to the cassette tape seating chart and branded E⚡R pins, custom keychains, and candy 🚬s, every detail was thoughtfully designed and full of personality.

THIS is how you make your wedding your own and not some copy-and-pasted version of someone else's from Pinterest.

Only could take a bowling alley/music venue and turn it into a space this beautiful and effortlessly cool.

And only could keep our gorgeous bride looking flawless from day to night on a sweaty dancefloor packed by .

If this wedding feels like your vibe, I definitely think we should work together ⚡Reach out - link in bio!

Italy on film, part I.

Each time I leave Calabria, my heart breaks a little more than the last. No time spent there is ever enough and I always feel homesick when I'm back in the US. To be honest, Calabria feels more like home to me at this point than home does. It's such a strange feeling.

Every time we visit, it feels like we never left, and when we get back home it feels like it was only a dream we were there. When I got these film scans back, the homesick pangs in my stomach hit harder than ever. Film really captured the magic of Calabria.

A face I don’t post enough: mine

It’s been a minute since I shared a photo of myself, so here I am, the person behind the camera.

I’m Cassie. I’m based just outside NYC in Fort Lee, NJ, and I photograph weddings all over—from city rooftops to coastal weekends to intimate celebrations among the neon glow of Vegas. I’m at my best when I’m traveling, collaborating with other creative souls, and capturing moments that feel both timeless and deeply personal.

My approach to photography is intuitive and storytelling-driven. I’m all about the quiet in-betweens, the deep exhales, the warmth and wildness of being surrounded by your people. I love weaving those fleeting moments in with thoughtful, editorial portraits.

When I’m not photographing weddings, you can usually find me in my garden, baking sourdough, or obsessing over the zinnias I’m crossbreeding for fun (yes, really 🤓).

Most of my couples are creatives or sentimental types who want their wedding to feel like them, and who care about photography not just as documentation, but as memory.

If that sounds like you, we’d probably get along just fine 🤍
