National Photographer Day, also known as World Photography Day, is celebrated on August 19th each year. It's time to introduce myself to those who don't know the face behind Nickey's Photo Creations.
My favorite part of my job is working with people, and the satisfaction from helping others love photos of themselves. This is easier said than done, as we are often all our own worst critics.
This is a big year for me:
August 15th is officially 10 years in business
October 17th is my due date for our 2nd and final kiddo
October 22nd is my 15th anniversary with my love
Beyond taking photos, I also draw and paint and love all things crafty
My favorite quote is, "If we get everything we want, we will soon want nothing we get." Be humble, strive for growth, but also take pride, enjoyment, and find contentment in what you have currently.
My favorite music includes artists and styles like Hozier and David Kushner
My favorite colors are blue and green (calm vibes)
I love trying new foods and also coffee shop/fun bar atmospheres. My perfect meal would be a massive sampler tray or trying and sharing different plates with friends and family.
Being outdoors makes my heart beyond happy, from hiking to patio chill sessions and everything in between
