There is a different kind of quiet that settles in during Forget Me Not sessions.

I had the honor of capturing a family soaking up some sweet moments with this sweet girl tonight. The rainbow bridge can wait a little bit longer, right?

It wasn't about perfect poses, or looking right at the camera. It was about treats given a little more freely, extra head pats, smelly kisses that no one pulled away from, and all the belly rubs their hearts could hold.

You can always feel the love in every second. In the way they all held on a little longer, laughed a little softer, and tried to memorize every detail they could.

These sessions are never easy, but they are so important. Because, even though our time with them is never long enough, the love that we share with our fur-babies, deserves to be remembered forever. šŸŒˆ

I love seeing you share your photos, truly, it makes my day. BUTā€¦ please donā€™t slap a filter on them like itā€™s 2012 and weā€™re all on Instagram discovering ā€œValenciaā€ for the first time. šŸ˜…

Every image I deliver is carefully edited to reflect my style, my colors, and my artistic vision. I spend hours editing and when extra edits get added, itā€™s basically like putting ketchup on a perfectly cooked steakā€¦C'mon yall...we know better! šŸ˜

Plus, it no longer represents my work or what future clients can expect when they book with me and Iā€™d rather not have my photos out there living a double life. šŸ‘€

There is something special to be said about being able to capture a lifestyle newborn session, but even more so when it's for friends!

Being welcomed into their home during such a tender, love filled season is something that I will never take for granted. Tiny details, quiet moments, and all the sweetness of this new life...it's truly an honor to be the one documenting this chapter of their lives.

I am forever grateful for the trust, the love and the chance to document such a beautiful beginning!
