Every wedding has the big moments.

The vows.
The first kiss.
The celebration.

Most people think a great portrait starts with the camera.

It doesn’t.

It starts the moment someone feels safe enough to be themselves.

Everything after that—the lighting, composition, editing—is just supporting the story.

This is why I’ll always choose genuine emotion over a perfect pose.

One keeps me creative.
One keeps me humble.
One reminds me to slow down.
One broadens my perspective through new cultures and experiences.

Life’s too short not to enjoy all four.
