brought my film camera to a cloudy cubs game that ended in a W and a thunderstorm 🌭🌧️🤍

sharing some personal film from my wedding anniversary this year when andrew and i decided to go to wrigley for a cubs game. a may afternoon game that felt more like early april, we watched the cubs nab a win over the red sox, enjoyed ballpark food and i played around with my 35mm 😇

chloe + emily, part 2!!! 🕊️💍🤍

after ceremony, we still had a lot of celebrating to do! their bridal party and i hit the outside of The Fairfield Wedding & Events for some portraits and got to take a minute to celebrate the girls perfect and individual dresses from Indiana Bridal Boutique. emily’s style is all pearls and bows, a pearl studded veil and a princess silhouette for her dress, a more traditional bouquet to finish. chloe’s look had more of a floral emphasis, with a super unique, sheer overlay and a piece of her late grandmother’s dress attached to her bouquet.

their reception was magic, courtesy of Magik Sounds. it was classy and elegant, with classic Janiszewski touches of wildly silly - ft but not limited to

chloe + emily, part 1 💌🥂✨

chloe and emily officially became Mrs + Mrs on the last weekend of pride month 2026, a happy coincidence and the perfect way to end june. their bride tribe got ready at The Bradley in the morning (hi winnie 🐕‍🦺🐾🦴!!!!!), and the rest of the day was spent at The Fairfield Wedding & Events with their family + friends!

if i’ve said it once, i’ll say it 100 times. q***r weddings are so special. the magic of hanging two dresses side by side. watching chloe’s best friend from 8th grade be the one to put in her veil. truly unexpected dad tears during emotional first looks with these hockey dads. the sapphic energy radiating from these two, genuinely electric with excitement over seeing each other and the idea of getting married.

there’s something about the way le****ns literally RACE down the aisle after you’ve pronounced them married. i don’t know if it’s the excitement to get the party started, see their life begin on the other side of the aisle, or running towards their newfound happy ending, but it’s one thing i hope never goes away.

avery and tyler, an exhibit in easy love.

guys - art museum sessions 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ there’s something about meandering around a place full of breakables and oil paintings to make you treat your surroundings a little more delicately. shadows are more poignant, colors feel bolder and even a whisper seems like it reverberates. everything feels a little editorial, even when it’s not staged.

museum curation is an art i’m constantly awed by - why is the museum set up like this? what is it framing? what is it leading your eye to see? how can i, as an artist entering an already established artistic space, add my own touch, while featuring your love and personality through photos? honoring you and the art is my high st priority, while making some dope art for you to take home too.

first wedding film scans came back and it’s the perfect way to introduce the juillerarts to the feed 🥹

these two besties got married at Chapel Road Retreat in April, with a day that started grey and cold, with most of us shivering during outside pictures. but as the day went on, the clouds split and the sun came out for the best golden hour and some killer reception lighting.

best features from the film that came back?
- skylar in her pepsi phase (still now, going strong) while all her ladies primp and preen
- a wedding day trash can = polaroid film, beer cans, baby diapers, false lashes, and breakfast take out containers 😂
- post ceremony personality snaps ft lucas settling in with charcuterie pickles and skylar warming up under a blanket with her preferred snack of beef jerky (brought from home duh)

also loving that i didn’t adjust the time stamp so it looks like they got married in 1994, despite both of them being born post 1995 😂

sunday morning essentials: a giant papier-mâché mug, a ring, and a brew-tiful proposal 😉💍☕️

kylie + justina got engaged one year after their first date, in the same place they met, the java house in midtown. 🥹 kylie’s sister + mom set to making a perfect backdrop, complete with custom mugs, proposal themed m&ms, and extra rings just in case kylie forgot the real one at home LMAO. i tucked into a corner, listening to them come into the reserved room while Justina asked “what is this? kylie, what are we doing?” kylie told justina how for the past year, she had known, known this was the person for her, the love she wanted to keep for a lifetime, and would she do her the honor of being her wife?

overjoyed, caffeinated and full of adrenaline, these two couldn’t take their eyes or hands off each other. it was a joy to watch these two say yes - they’re currently celebrating on a mexican cruise, but feel free to show them love in the comments!!!
