Life has taken a lot of twists this year. As October is coming to a close and we get ready for November, my wife and I are packing up a few things and moving to a new apartment in a couple weeks 🥰

We are saying, "Goodbye Pride month" by sharing the Bi pride flag!🩷💜💙

Bisexuality is kind of an umbrella term. It's also got some discourse behind it's history. However, all it simply means is experiencing attractions to more than one gender. Others take it as, "same gender as self or others." The Bi pride flag was first shared in December 1998.

And I do have a pastel version about to post as well.

Hello Ace lovelies!!! 🖤🩶🤍💜

Today we celebrate the Asexual flag!! People who identify as Asexual, or Ace, tend to feel little or no sexual attractions to others. The Ace flag was introduced in 2010 by a group called Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN).

And because I've had others genuinely ask: Ace people DO still have romantic relationships. One of my closest friends is Ace and has a spouse and they are absolutely adorable together 😊

🍳 Pan pride time!! Flag for the day is Pansexual. Pansexuals are not attracted to pans (common joke)!

Someone who identifies as pan tends to be attracted to the human and their personality rather than what gender their partner identify as. A phrase that helped me understand when new was, "hearts, not parts."

The flag was adopted in 2010. Magenta means attraction to women, yellow to nonbinary and gender qu**rs, and cyan for men.

Today's flag is the MLM Flag! No, not multi level marketing. Men Loving Men!!

It wasn't until the 2010s when the male identifying g**s started to get their own flags outside of the rainbow flag. The 7 stripe version is known as, "Ocean Stripe Flag," and this is based on the simplified 5 stripe version.

Happy Sunday!! For today's flag we have the Sunset Le***an Flag 🥰

Le***ans are women attracted to other women or some nonbinary folks. Others may call themselves, "Sapphic" which is more of an umbrella term for women or nonbinary folks who are attracted to other women and some nonbinary. There's word, "sapphic," comes from an ancient Greek poet named Sappho. She lived on the island of Le**os in the year 600 BCE and was known for her writing and love of other women.

There's a reason why Le***ans are mentioned first in LGBTQIA+ and for that knowledge, we look back to the 1980s. During the start of the aids epidemic, most doctors refused to treat another person with aids for fear of catching it. The le***an community stepped up and stepped in to the medical profession to help take care of those where we're affected by aids.

For today's flag, we have the Trans Flag 🥳🏳️‍⚧️

Little bit of Pride history for you. It's known that Pride started as a riot, but not everyone knows who started it. Her name was Marsha P. Johnson and the P. stands for "Pay it no mind." She was a Trans woman of color who started a riot at Stonewall on June 28, 1969 🫡🏳️‍🌈

Trans is an umbrella term simply for anyone who identifies differently than their assigned gender at birth. This also included nonbinary (they/thems like me) folks. For example, gender fluid folks, demi boys and girls, and androgynous to name a few. On the other hand, "Cis" means you're not any kind trans.

Trans men ARE men 🩵
Trans women ARE women 🩷
Nonbinary people ARE valid 💜

Photo wise: I have shared and sold the peony photo but the blue moon and raindrops are ones that escape the hoard.

Hey Friends!! For today's flag we have the classic Rainbow to help continue on with our Pride collection 🏳️‍🌈😊

I am horrible with photo hoarding. So many pretty pictures that aren't print worthy but I still love for one reason or another. This collection is making it possible to share some of those 🥰

As of right now, I have 9 flags in total made up. Bi babes, y'all get 2 prints because I loved how a pastel one looked and the standard flag colors are a whole vibe of their own.
