Long time no talk on this account😅 I have been MIA since November as I was pregnant with twins and now my twins are here!!👶🏼👶🏼

It is with great sadness I announce that I will no longer be booking weddings. I will still be accepting a few sessions here and there for couples and families 💗

However, the weekends are when we get to spend lots of time together as a family and I want to soak in the time with our little ones! I appreciate all the love this account has gotten over the years and don’t hesitate to message me✨

I am so unbelievably grateful for a job that allows me to witness God’s goodness over and over again. This sweet moment of Chloe’s bridesmaids praying over her, praying over her and Dakota’s wedding day, praying over their marriage… it is so special to witness how deeply loved my couples are by their friends and family🫶🏻

So here is your Sunday reminder to love your people. Love and serve them fiercely. Love them when they are unlovable. Tell them constantly that you love them. Life is so short friends 🤍

Yesterday was a blistering hot day, but oh man did God show up in big ways. Family and friends traveled near and far to celebrate the marriage of Michelle and Ben and I just have to say that the room was seeping of happiness and love for the couple ❤️‍🔥I heard some of the sweetest speeches and it was just so clear in every aspect of the day how fiercely loved this couple is. It was a true honor to capture their big day🫶🏻

I have struggled with how to write a caption that will accurately describe the goodness of Dakota and Chloe’s wedding day and I don’t think words will do justice the endless goodness that God graced us with! 🤍

His presence was persistent through every aspect of the day. Dakota and Chloe had the best hype crew, the sweetest vows, and an unmatched dance floor🙌🏻

YOU’RE ENGAGED, NOW WHAT?

Yayayyayayay the day has finally come that you have been longing for and you are engaged to your partner🤍 You are at an all time high of life, but what’s next? You’ve likely never planned a wedding before, so what’s next?
1. Take a deep breath, and soak in this fun period of time. Celebrate with your friends and family. Enjoy being a newly engaged couple, it is bittersweet✨
2. Take a step back and think about what you, as a couple, want for your wedding day. Do you want a huge party or a private elopement? What is truly important to you? This is a fun time to dream and plan together.
3. Start contacting your main vendors. For me, this was our venue, photographer, and videographer. We had flexibility around our other vendors but we wanted our most important ones locked down. This will help determine the date of your wedding.
4. Discuss budget. This ties directly into the above item, because it’ll be really hard to book a venue if you don’t know what your budget is. I have a budgeting template, check out the highlight bubble on my profile!
