Erika Galloway is a Fort Wayne and Northwest Ohio photographer who loves many things including her husband, aviation, motorcycles, and her cats. She has an exuberant passion for art, adventure, and being your most authentic self. She loves to share that passion with others through her photographs. Her dad introduced her to his hobby of pho

tography when she was young. With the use of his old darkroom, her love of photography took off. She graduated Bishop Dwenger High School in 2008. In the fall of 2014 she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication and Design from IPFW. Since then, she has gone on to be published in various magazines and continues to show her art in galleries in Indiana and Ohio. Erika photographs many subjects— from planes and motorcycles, to portraits and boudoir. She seeks to capture confidence and empowering energy by surrounding individuals with a creative and relaxing ambiance to encourage self expression and authenticity.

What is a Regional Art Show and why is it important?

It's a juried art show that brings artists from our local area together to display and celebrate their artwork in one shared exhibition. It's an opportunity for artists to get some recognition from the public (that's you!) , and a little cash thanks to our sponsor Bowen Health 😉

It's so important because it builds exposure for the people that keep our city creative and it shows them appreciation!

I photographed these peaches in the evening light, when their color was just beginning to deepen and they were getting close to being ready to pick.
I'm glad I stopped to photograph them when I did! The following week, the raccoons ate every single one. :( 😭
At least I have proof they were beautiful.
