Life has been so full that it’s been nearly a year since shooting with my Canon 70 D. However, the inspiration of meeting singers through the studio and drumming up ideas about artistry , I pulled out my camera and invested in my first Sigma art lens.

I didn’t lose the touch. The things below that use to scare me about shooting, I didn’t think twice about.

Unfamiliar with location

None of those things matter. It was just a thrill to shoot. Was a good reminder that building skills take time. Everything that scared me about photography still exist, I’m just more practiced.

My most proudest camera moment was taking a self portrait for a church music project! Every photographer knows we’re normally our first subject. Self portraits helps us explore lighting, posing, and subtlety of facial expressions.

Enjoyed this shoot with Hannah! A year ago I traveled to Nashville TN and had a fabulous outdoor shoot near the pantheon! I love getting as close as I can to the subject.
