I finally got to use my brand new camera to capture my son’s baseball team in action, and honestly… what a privilege.

There’s something so special about freezing these moments in time. The intensity, the excitement, the pure joy of kids playing a sport they love. But my favorite part might be looking back through the photos and seeing all the faces I captured.

The focus faces.
The “did that really just happen?” faces.
The full-on goofy, mid-play, zero-awareness faces.

These boys have no idea how hilarious some of them look in the middle of a game, and that might be the best part.

I’m just grateful I get to document these moments — because one day we’ll look back at these photos and realize how special this season really was. ⚾📸

The best gift you can give your photographer is coming back to them year after year. These two families stuck put my chaotic schedule and we were able to squeeze in photos right before Christmas! Love them to pieces!

What a weekend… slept in the car Friday night after Shae got off to secure a hunting spot. Snapped these photos of my guys and the sweetest Tater boy, went home, took a nap, and then went BACK out. Shae finally got Tater on a bird. Fast forward to today. The guys went out early. Bub finally got his first bird! And THEN this evening I got the privilege of shooting a surprise engagement for some really great friends of ours. Afternoon photos and engagement photos to come! I’ll wait to post until they share their sneaks with the world! 🥰🥰

Jen and I have been trying to get this family session done for a couple weekends now. We all know life as a parent can be a bit unpredictable and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. The butterfly at the end was a bonus! Nora was so curious about it! 😍

I’ve been photographing this family for the last 4 years. It’s such a joy to see how tall the kids have grown in a year. The kids would rather be doing something else but we always make it fun and even let the kids pick a few poses that they would like to do…. Like Gavin playing ☠️ weight! 😂

I got to try out a new camera body a couple weeks ago and of course Taylor is always willing and ready to be my model. We felt like we were chasing the sun the entire time. The first location we went to was very shaded and had no sun shining through at all. On our way home we saw this spot and had to pull over. There’s something about the sun that really makes the photos for me… we have a love hate relationship.
