Hello friends! I sure didn’t mean to stay away for so long, but this little angel turned our world upside down in the best way back in September 💕 she just passed the 8 month mark and I can’t figure out where the time has gone! I’m learning to navigate the roles of mom + business owner and my respect for all moms has grown immensely. It’s such an honor to raise this precious girl, but “balance” feels elusive at the moment (and probably will forever)! A huge thank you to my clients for being patient with me 💗

Not sure when to book your newborn photos? I recommend reaching out when you hit the second trimester! There are already so many things to do to prepare for baby, so inquiring early ensures you aren’t scrambling to book your photographer at the last minute 🤍

I typically recommend scheduling sessions around 2 weeks after birth (to give you time to settle in with a newborn!), but the beauty of lifestyle sessions in your home means that we can schedule any time you want. I’m now booking through August and will take a hiatus for maternity leave when our own baby comes in September! 🥰

There's a lot of waiting during pregnancy – waiting to test, waiting for the appointments, waiting to find out the gender, waiting for baby to arrive. It's also a lot of wondering – wondering which parent they'll look like, wondering what their personality will be, wondering what color hair (if any!) they'll have, wondering how they'll see the world... ⁠

Happy Friday! I thought it was about time to share here about our little blessing coming in September 🥰🌱🌼🌸

When I started this page, it was *only* friends and family following along. Now, I’m fortunate enough to have clients and clients-turned-friends along for the journey as well. You may not know our story — we experienced back to back losses early last year that ended up being the catalyst behind me pursuing this genre of photography. This sacredness of this season, the absolute blessing it is to rear and raise children — my heart for this business lies in the journey of motherhood.

I’m so excited for our family, but I’m also excited about how this will allow me to better serve my clients. It’s already changed so much, and I can’t wait to connect with mamas who value the precious, fleeting moments 🤍

I’m still here photographing babies and their adoring parents 🥰 Baby Callan was an absolute dream!

February and March have been the busiest months of photography I’ve ever had and I’m so, so grateful 🥹 Social media often takes a back seat to serving my clients and my own family, but my goal is to share more from my sessions this year!

I’m now booking newborn & maternity sessions into August (whoa). I only take a limited number of sessions per month to ensure that there’s wiggle room in my calendar for babies that arrive early or late! I recommend getting in touch as soon as you reach your second trimester 🤍

Spring and fall might be known as *the* time for outdoor photos, but winter is actually perfect for in-home sessions! Your home is probably extra cozy with fluffy blankets and textures, and the trees are bare, letting in as much light as possible. There’s more flexibility for timing, as this type of session typically takes place mid-morning or afternoon instead of at sunrise or sunset.

If the idea of packing up the car with your kiddos or brand new baby seems daunting or out of the question, an in-home session might be perfect for you! We only need an area or two with good window light to make some magic ✨
