So many roles and emotions tied into that three letter word.

There a good days, bad days, blah days and days that I spend my entire day thinking about how I could have done this or that differently.

It’s full of heart bursting love and drive you crazy frustration.

It’s hard work. It’s a blessing. It’s joy and heartache. It’s laundry and lunches and hugs and laughter. It’s a mirror that some days I’d rather walk right on by. It’s the most complex relationship I’ve ever experienced. It’s motherhood.

Grateful for all the moms I get to capture each year and hopefully remind you of the bond and love your child has for YOU, m🤍m!

These are creative sessions with a specific vision, so I’ll ask participants to dress in a certain style and share some of the final images on their socials.⁣⁣

My heart truly goes out to everyone impacted by the recent flooding in Central Texas and across other parts of the U.S.⁣⁣

With my son preparing for his first overnight camp later this month, I’ve been thinking a lot about how parenting stretches our hearts—how we celebrate our own children’s milestones while grieving the losses other families are facing. We hold so much at once.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
