This session felt like stepping into a storybook.

The dress.
The location.
The creativity.

But my favorite part wasn’t any of those things.

It was watching her confidence grow with every photo.

A client said something to me recently that stuck with me:

“I wasn’t worried. I knew you’d get the shot.”

As a photographer, that means more to me than almost anything else.Because the truth is, most people don’t show up to a session worried about the camera.

They’re worried about their toddler cooperating.They’re worried about feeling awkward.They’re worried about whether the photos will turn out.

My goal has never been perfect poses.

It’s helping people feel comfortable enough to be themselves while I take care of the rest.

That’s where the real moments happen.

I can’t say it enough. Her name is ENOUGH. This particular shot was something I was debating with her. She insisted on this spot. I tried to explain, we wanted bluebonnets and this was the road. I gave in to appease her and come to find out, it is one of my favorite from that session.
It is so humbling (in the best way) being her parent. She makes me question things and slow down and run and cry and I just can’t say thank you enough for giving me such a blessing from my own daughter.
