From coworkers to watching him build a future of his own.
This young man started out as a coworker and became a good friend. I remember encouraging him to find a path that meant more to him. One that could eventually give him the opportunity to step outside of the 9–5 and work for himself.
He found that path in barbering.
Since then, I’ve watched him dedicate himself to the craft, put in the work, and continue to grow. Getting the chance to photograph him professionally, sitting in his own chair, made this shoot mean a little more to me.
I’m proud of how far you’ve come. Seeing you take a chance on yourself and go after what you wanted is exactly what I hoped to see.
