Hi ABP family,
Labor Day weekend always feels like a quiet turning point.
Summer starts to loosen its grip a little. The nights get cooler, the light shifts, and there’s this feeling that we’re standing in that in-between space of holding onto summer while also slowly stepping into fall.
But we’re not quite there yet.
The weather is still beautiful enough for paddle boards, lake days, long boat rides, and those last “we should probably do this before summer is gone” kind of moments. Whether you’re spending time on the water, heading out for one more island weekend, or just sitting outside for dinner while the sun stays out a little longer, I hope you actually take it in.
Outdoor dining still feels perfect this time of year, both here in NEPA and at LBI. There’s something about this stretch of the season where everything feels a little slower, a little softer, and a little more worth holding onto.
And that’s really what this time of year always reminds me of.
The moments that feel simple in real time are usually the ones we end up missing the most later.
If you get the chance this weekend, I hope you give yourself space to enjoy it. Not rush through it. Not plan around it. Just be in it.
And as always, thank you for trusting me with your families, your stories, and the memories you’re living right now. That connection means everything to me.
Wishing you a peaceful Labor Day weekend.
Love and Light,
