There are moments in life that change you forever… and being invited into the room for this one was something I will never take for granted. 🤍

A couple weeks ago, I had the absolute honor of documenting my sister’s birth story. Watching her strength, her determination, and the raw, beautiful power of bringing life into the world was nothing short of incredible. There are no words that can fully capture it — but these images come close.

Birth is real. It’s emotional. It’s powerful. It’s messy and magical all at the same time… and it deserves to be remembered.

Being behind the camera for this moment, while also being her sister, is something I will cherish forever. Welcome to the world, sweet baby — you are already so loved. 🤍

There is something so incredibly special about a Fresh 48 session 🤍

Just hours after entering the world, I had the honor of capturing my beautiful niece’s very first moments earthside. The tiny details, the fresh little features, the quiet love filling the room—it’s a kind of magic you can’t recreate.

Being behind the camera is always meaningful, but this one hit a little deeper. Getting to document my own family, my sister stepping into motherhood, and my sweet niece’s very first memories is something I will cherish forever.

The placenta — one of the most incredible, yet often overlooked, parts of birth.

This temporary organ grows alongside your baby, providing oxygen, nutrients, protection, and life for nine months. It’s the quiet lifeline behind every heartbeat captured in the womb.

As a photographer, I’m always in awe of its beauty and purpose. Each one tells a story — of connection, strength, and the amazing work a mother’s body does without ever asking for recognition.
Birth isn’t just about the moment a baby arrives — it’s about everything that made that moment possible.
