Feeling behind, overwhelmed, and like I have about 47 tabs open in my brain at all times. 😅

There are so many different areas of life demanding my attention right now…..deadlines, work, motherhood, financial and legal things I’ve never had to navigate before, big decisions about the future, and plenty of situations that are completely out of my control.
And because apparently that wasn’t enough, let’s throw PMS into the mix this week too. 😬😂
I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t felt incredibly heavy lately. There have been moments where the sheer amount of everything has made me want to shut down instead of figuring out where to even begin.
But I keep reminding myself: I don’t have to figure out my entire life today. I just have to keep moving.
One task. One deadline. One decision. One day at a time.
I can’t control how everything turns out, but I can control how I move through it. And I already know that a year from now, I’m going to look back and be so damn proud….not because everything worked out perfectly, but because I kept showing up.
I put in the work. I found reasons to laugh and make memories in the middle of the chaos. I kept building a life and business I love.
And most importantly, I DID NOT GIVE UP. 🤍
Slightly overwhelmed, definitely a little behind… but still moving forward✨

Farewell, August. 🤍

I can’t help but look back at where I was this time last year and feel so much appreciation for how far I’ve come.
This was somehow one of my favorite summers with my kids, while also being one of the most stressful deep down. There was so much pressure I put on myself to make the memories, soak up the summer, and give them the childhood they deserve… all while quietly carrying the weight of juggling so much of it on my own.
There was fear of the unknown, a lot of figuring things out as I went, sometimes not feeling like I could even physically or emotionally keep going, and getting a dose of what our new normal looks like.
🌈But somewhere in the middle of all of it, we laughed. We made memories. We had a really good summer.
And I think I’m leaving August/Summer realizing that maybe our new normal doesn’t have to look anything like the old one to still be beautiful 🤍 I know next August will be even better.

Cake smash or first birthday portraits? 🎂🤍

Some parents love the full setup, theme + cake. Others want something simple and timeless that focuses completely on their baby.
And you can always do both … beautiful milestone portraits first, followed by a little cake fun at the end. 🧁
The most important part is documenting who they are at ONE the tiny details, big personality, and expressions you never want to forget.

Because the cake is fun… but turning ONE is the reason for the session. 🤍
