Wedding season is upon us!

This year I'm seeing a trends in early afternoon ceremonies, 50ish people, and a family-style meal. I like this format and welcome the fresh take on a traditional day!

For me it was a shabby-chic, mason jar, lace dress type of celebration.

Yesterday afternoon, about 50 bouquets left our Little Free Flower Stand. All donated by the Franklin Kroger, all free to whoever wanted one because of The Rebloom Project. 🌸

Lots of people who stopped by had the same question: Why?

That's an easy one:

One mom told us her kids grabbed a bouquet to surprise their grandparents.

Another woman's daughter just moved into a new place, and she wanted to bring her flowers to help it feel like home.

One neighbor grabbed some for her mother-in-law, and then brought back some of her friends on the golf cart to brighten their kitchens.

Someone else just said, "Well, this made my day!"

That's it. That's the whole mission of The Rebloom Project, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit: flowers that would otherwise be thrown away, given a second life.

As summer comes to a close and school prepares to resume, the focus is shifting to fleeting family time. Expect a slower response to emails, texts, and returned calls with regular responses beginning 8/4/26.

Five years ago, my Google profile was threatened by a sour eBay seller. I decided to fight and so did my clients. In a few days, they amassed almost 60 positive Google reviews on my profile to offset the negativity unfolding. By leaving honest, thoughtful feedback they have since helped new customers book my services.

Once we came out on the other side, no one looked back. Here we are all these years later and I fondly look back on that time with true appreciation and admiration. What an incredible support system! Though, as time marches on, so does a looming irrelevance with AI. Thus, it's time for me to humbly ask once more for your honest feedback in working with Miss Cara Photography where we left off... in 2021.
