I had the extreme honor of photographing my nephews wedding a few weeks ago and man, what a beautiful day. Tennessee had been dealing with 98 degree weeks, but the temp dipped down to a lovely 87 for wedding day, something we were all grateful for!

The photos speak for themselves. Christian and Skyler were made for each other, and it was such a joy to capture that beautiful love they have.

If you’re getting married in Tennessee, I highly recommend The Barn at Sycamore Farms l Nashville Wedding & Event Venue. Such a beautiful venue tucked conveniently about 30 minutes south of Nashville.

My dear friend Tec Petaja and I have been reminiscing about the glory days of film. How light hits celluloid and creates so much beauty. It brought me back to several weddings I couldn’t get out of my head and had to revisit.

Liza and Aaron’s wedding still contains some of my favorite images, and I’m starting to think it might be time to get the Contax out of the closet and return to film more often.

Also, yes, that is the bride and groom playing Just Dance on a Nintendo hooked up at the reception. Epic 🎮
