If you’ve ever found yourself wondering about what your vendors are doing on the way to your wedding— now you don’t have to use your imagination 💁🏻‍♀️🤣✨

Authenticity. It’s a big word in this industry. A lofty goal, too. Capturing weddings in a way that’s true to the story and the couple is absolutely crucial to the way I tell stories.

BUT- something I learned after years of shooting weddings while trying to behave with perfect poise and manners- it’s difficult to make art when you can’t be yourself. So I ditched all of the pretending a few years back. I show up exactly as I am (dressed up though😌) and allow you to feel comfortable being exactly who you are, too.

Don’t be scared to embrace all the quirkiness, dorky jokes, and belly laughs. It makes you who you are. 😘

When I bond with your friends and family— and obviously you as a couple, I believe we’re actually forever friends in real life, rather than just seeing myself as a photographer for that wedding. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣☠️

Shot the raddest wedding this past Saturday! 😍

Alex & Xander said yes to forever with each other, and it was an absolutely beautiful day! Both the sun & moon were out in full view, too 😍 They had Kelsey with doing flash tattoos, and I even had them each draw half of a heart & got it at the end of my night. I photographed the dreamiest winter elopement Friday around the city of Asheville, nc. S&B got married, took some photos in the freezing cold, and then warmed up with a sweet treat from before exploring a museum. 😌 It was intentional, sweet, and such a laid back day.
