These sweet years are fleeting, and I love getting to preserve the personalities, connection, and love that makes each family uniquely theirs. 🩵💙

Some day, they'll be grown. Some day, these little girls will look back and realize just how special days like this were.

But today? They're simply sisters, laughing in a sunflower field, being silly and making memories together without even realizing it.

UPDATE TO POLICY INFO BELOW:

I have had some parents reach out about the fact that I have always given them total control over the sharing of their images, and never ever post without permission/consent. They've stated they would like theirs to continue that way, since they also know sharing of images is one of the biggest ways my business is promoted, and their children are posted on their socials as well.

So, I will continue to post LIMITED recognizable images and of course with consent only. The goal is still going to be to do so as little as possible. Protection of children will always be my number one priority. Thank you all for your understanding and support.

‼️LONG POST AHEAD WITH IMPORTANT NOTICE!!

This is my 4th attempt at trying to make this post today. I've had a busy day, and am finally home and trying once again.

I'm sure by now, most of you have heard that the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) depicting "fictional" children can be constitutionally protected under the First Amendment when it stays within the home. What does this mean?

As of August 25, 2026, the court ruled that under existing Supreme Court precedent, the federal government cannot criminalize the private in-home possession of certain obscene AI-generated images depicting fictional children when no actual child was involved. The court itself acknowledged how dangerous and complicated this technology has become. And THAT should scare every parent, because AI can now create images of children that are virtually indistinguishable from real abuse, while the law is struggling to keep up.

⚠️ This is NOT a reason to panic...but it IS a reason to take your children's online privacy seriously. If you have public photos of your children all over social media, understand that those images can potentially be collected, copied, manipulated, or used to create something you NEVER consented to.

Digital footprint is huge and forever. We need to stop making it easy for strangers, including those with malicious intent to collect access to children's images. Child predators are everywhere.

There are literally cameras everywhere these days, so all of our faces are continuously being recorded. So online posting of children is just a drop in the bucket. But, we can do our part to take one small step in trying to protect children. It is truly sad that the world has come to this.

That being said, from here on out, because this is a public page, I will no longer be posting identifiable images of minor children. I have always been known for snapping candid "no face" shots when I can because I just love them. There is even an album here on the page titled "No Faces" (Photo with post from this album - which by the way, I haven't updated in quite some time!) So, I will certainly be posting more of those. There may be times I try to cover a child's face but most of the time only images that creatively do not show their face will be shared.

What does this mean for parents? You have the right to do as you wish with your own photos once you receive them from me. I just ask that you please remember to credit (not tag) Erin Cecily Photography when sharing. I just don't want to share them here on a public platform. Thank you for understanding. The world has become too evil and scary, and children need to be protected in every small way possible.
