📢 Cuteness alert! 📢

Do you remember my foster puppy, Leon, that was with me last year? Sometimes he comes to visit me while his family is out of town. I love getting to spend time with him again! This time, Hailey and I took him to my favorite magical forest location for some photos. 📸 He posed so handsomely!

I loved this so much that I used it for my monthly challenge submission for the "Space" subject in August. Giving animals space to breathe, also known as using negative space, is a wonderful compositional tool to guide the viewer's eye in the direction you intend.

Give Leon some love for being such an awesome dog model! 💞

Meet Cooper, September 2025's Breed of the Month Winner!

There’s just something about a Coonhound. The soulful eyes, soft ears, independent personalities, and unmistakable hound charm make them impossible not to love.

Our September 2025 Breed of the Month winner, Cooper, is all of those things and so much more.

This beautiful 9-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound has the kindest eyes, a stubborn streak, a love for learning silly tricks, and an important job keeping watch from the patio table. Her journey to her family is also a wonderful story of timing, second chances, and finding the dog who was meant to be yours.

After nearly losing Cooper in 2021, her family discovered that she has Addison's disease and have since learned so much about the condition while helping other families navigate it.

From her Petfinder beginnings to her many, MANY nicknames, Cooper's story is one filled with love, resilience, and the incredible bond she shares with her family.

I’m sharing her story, along with a little history about Coonhounds and what makes these amazing dogs so special, on the blog!

🍂 October is just around the corner... and so is my trip to Ireland! 🍀

In just a few weeks, I'll be back for the first two weeks of October, photographing pets in some of Ireland's most beautiful locations. 🐾

One of my favorite things about photographing dogs is capturing the little things that make them 'them' — the head tilt, the ridiculous grin, the soulful eyes, the happy ears, and all those quirks you never want to forget.

Because they may not be with us forever, but we can hold onto the memories forever. 🐶✨

Meet Lucky, August 2025’s Breed of the Month Winner!

Tiny paws. A huge personality. And a heart that seems to understand exactly what his person needs.

Lucky is a black and white Pomeranian who captured our hearts with his incredible story. From comforting his mom after nightmares and staying by her side through the loss of her father, to letting nervous children gain the confidence to pet him, Lucky has a remarkable ability to bring comfort and happiness wherever he goes.

And then there’s his determination… including the time his mom discovered her tiny 2½-pound puppy had figured out how to climb furniture like a rock climber just so he could sit in her chair!

Now, Lucky’s beautiful portraits have a place of honor in his home as a stunning metal Wall Art collage.

I’m so excited to share his story, along with a little history about Pomeranians and what makes this breed so special.
