This little forest creature is Elliot! 🐾

He's a 1 year old Italian Greyhound x Mini American Shepherd. He's super goofy, loves to run and is leaning all sorts of sports with his mom. He's already excelling with Flyball, FastCAT, Disc, Dock diving, and Agility.

I love dogs with heterochromia (when each eye is a different color) but he's super special because his one eye is half and half! It makes this little cutie even more special.

I absolutely adore doing these forest sessions during the summer, where the temperature is quite a bit cooler and shaded in the trees. I think Elliot agrees!

So, I’ve opened a limited number of Sunflower Mini Sessions for this Saturday, July 25th.

There's something so special about seeing a client's artwork become part of their home. ❤️ Every time they walk by, they're reminded of the bond they share with their best friend.

Meet Bayou—a 4-year-old Black Lab with an incredible story. Born in Tennessee, raised in Illinois, and now calling Maryland home, Bayou is the lead dog at The Road Home Pet Tracking Services. He uses his remarkable scent discrimination and trailing skills to help reunite lost pets with their families.

When the work is done? Bayou is all about the simple joys: splashing in the water, chasing a ball, and spending time with his pack—K9 Lily, K9 Shelby, and, of course, his favorite human. 💙

Bayou's human shared this photo of her artwork from our session now in her home. Creating artwork like this is about more than decorating a wall. It's about honoring the heart, purpose, and personality of the dogs who leave paw prints on our lives every single day.

One of my favorite things to do is to chase sunsets. 🌇

If I'm out driving and see that it might be a good one, I'll veer off the main road, finding backroads through countryside and mountains to get the best spot for the peak colors.

One evening, on my way home from a client's session in WV, I took a sunset detour and ended up driving through a backwoods area with the light peeking through the trees. Then all of a sudden, the road dipped and I looked to my right to see this little pony! 🐴

He was so beautiful walking through the flowers that I had no choice but to pull my car over, throw my hazards on, and grab my camera. 📸 He was on the move, so I didn't have too much time to capture him, but the light was beautiful showing off his blonde mane.

👀 Sneak Peek!! 👀

Our June Breed of the Month winner was Dexter, the Great Dane! 🐾

He and his sister, Lily posed so beautifully in my favorite forest area for photos together. Dexter's blue eyes matched up with Lily's dress perfectly. 💙 As soon Dexter was chosen as the winner, I started envisioning the contrast of his bright white fur against the green ethereal scene. My vision came to life!
