I am a lifestyle portrait photographer located in Colorado. My photo style is clean, classic & authentic.

I strive to capture ordinary moments that can show you just how extraordinary your story...life...family...love...truly is. As a natural light photographer, my sessions are planned around weather and the best light. I don't use extra lighting equipment or lug around large pieces of gear. I will show up with just the knowledge of the light in the area we are photographing in and my camera :) For st

udio sessions or in home sessions, the time of day matters but not as crucially. I am here for all your photography needs, and although I have a specific go-to of families, I am always happy to photograph new things and in new places! Please reach out to discuss what type of photography session you are looking for. My goal for any photo session is that you have a good time - I know that photos can be stressful, but I hope you leave our time together feeling relaxed and like you made a new friend. A session with me is casual, fun and unscripted - but don't fear, I always have a plan for what we're doing and will direct and guide you.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here. A lot has happened in my personal life in the last few months that has taken my focus off of photography. A lot of things that I can’t yet put into words, but they’ll come with time. I appreciate your patience as I get back to regular life.

As I get back into this new ‘regular life’, and being back on here, it will look different. In the next couple of months you’ll see some rebranding to my photography page and account, but that is still tbd to what that all looks like. I am taking a small step back from photography this year - still going to take photos for you, but with smaller amounts of time to do so, I won’t be able to take every request that comes my way. If you have something you want to book with me and know it ahead of time, now is a good chance to get on the calendar since it’ll be limited.

Another change to my photography account will be something I’ve been wanting to incorporate for a while now. I will be posting some of my favorite photos that aren’t ones I was hired to do. Photography for me is much more than getting paid to take your photos. The joy I find in photography comes from when there is something or someone that I’m moved by and trying to capture the beauty or the story. Those are the things I’m going to be posting more of - not worrying about the like count…these photos I will begin posting are for me, it’s okay with me if you don’t like them. Photography is woven throughout my days that allow me to capture the small things, reminding me that there’s beauty all around us if we look for it. Even when life is hard. Even when it feels dark and heavy and scary…there is beauty.

Oh don’t mind me, just over here still living in my Fall photo sessions with the warm end of season hues. We’re not even out of December yet and I’m already ready for the colors of anything besides ‘winter’ 😏 Anyone else?

Always feeling like I can’t successfully balance well the busyness of editing photo sessions as well as regularly posting content on here. It’s a balance I keep thinking I should be on top of, but it just isn’t happening. So…I’m very behind on posting about sessions and if you don’t see yours on my socials, they’ll come out eventually 🙃

This session has been one of my favorite sessions this year, because it was with one of my favorite families. We’ve been friends with the Bote family for around 20 years. When Zeke was born, I was in the hospital’s waiting room anxiously awaiting news on his arrival, on how is mama was fairing, and wanting to meet him. I never would’ve thought then that all these later, I would also be doing his high school senior photos…but here we are! Sessions like this help to remind me that time really does go by so fast. Babies don’t keep…

Thank you Zeke for choosing me to do your senior photos!! It was a true honor for me. Can’t believe you’re old enough for this milestone! I can’t wait to see what you do next, because whatever it is, I know you’ll crush it ✨

If you’re needing headshots done, this is also a good time to snag a spot - we can scoot the Christmas set to the side and do those instead 🤷🏼‍♀️ Use the session however you want ✨

The Culpepper’s will always hold a special place in my heart for their role in my photography journey. They were one of the first to entrust me with the task of taking family photos when I was still deciding if this was something I wanted to pursue or not. The encouragement and support I got from them and others because of their photos, was a catalyst for launching into my own business.
Will always be grateful to them for giving me a chance and thankful I still get to do their photos ✨

Okay, I’m back to real life after being in Kenya for a while. Trying to get back into the swing of all the to-dos and all the photos in my queue 🫠

Back at it here with one of the bests: Zoe ✨ Not only did we have a fun and easy session together, but Zoe was also on our Kenya team and I got to know her in a whole new way! Zoe was on the games team and brought the energy for the kids every single time. She was quick to help out with whatever was needed and always did so with a smile. She was clutch! I will have more photos of Zoe, but from Kenya ☺️ …stay tuned for those, but like not any time soon because so. many. photos.

I have things that I do and say at each photo session. It’s a flow that I’ve adapted to work in most scenarios and to help me not forget what I need to do. To keep things fresh and different though, I am constantly looking for details or dynamics that capture you and/or your family. I have a rhythm, but I want you to feel like I captured your story well when you are flipping through your final gallery ✨

My calendar for Sept/October has one spot left. I may throw in mini sessions somewhere along the way, so keep an eye out for those if you’ve missed your chance during the busy season.

If a big, squished family hug isn’t something you’d want in a photo session, I’m probably not the photographer for you 🤷‍♀️…and that’s okay! I’m not for everyone, but I am for the people who like to have their family close. Maybe it’s the one time of year that your teenagers will do a family hug 😆 - I’m here for it!!

My calendar is almost completely full - if you haven’t got on there yet, send me a message before you miss out! My Autumn season has two major trips happening so my availability is more limited than usual.

Love seeing the various pieces that make each high school senior unique. Sometimes it’s just in the style of the person, or the vibe of photos they want, while other times it’s the items they bring along that have played a big part of their life so far. Bonus for me when it’s a musical instrument and I get to hear you play 👏🏼
