Something has been on my heart for a while now… and it finally feels like the right time to share 🤍
Over the past few years, I’ve photographed so many different seasons of life — couples, families, weddings, bo***ir — and I’ve loved being trusted to capture those moments.
But if I’m being completely honest…
there has always been one space that has pulled me in deeper than anything else.
Motherhood.
Not just the pretty, posed version of it…
but the raw, transformative, all-consuming, life-altering kind.
The kind where a woman becomes something entirely new.

As many of you know, I’m also a labor & delivery nurse — which means I’ve had the honor of witnessing life enter the world over and over again.
I’ve seen strength that can’t be put into words.
I’ve seen vulnerability in its purest form.
I’ve seen women doubt themselves… and then rise into their power in the most incredible way.
And then I experienced it for myself.
Becoming a mother changed me in ways I’m still learning how to put into words.
It softened me, stretched me, broke me open… and rebuilt me.
It made everything click.

I realized I don’t just want to photograph motherhood…
I want to be fully immersed in it.
To support it.
To honor it.
To document it in a way that feels real and deeply meaningful.

So with that being said, I’m officially stepping into a new chapter 🤍
Wanderlust Studios is evolving into
✨ Willow & Wren Birth Collective ✨
The name itself holds so much meaning to me…
The willow represents the mother — strong, grounded, and deeply resilient, bending through every wave of change without breaking.
The wren represents new life — small, delicate, and full of quiet strength, symbolizing the beginning of something entirely new.
Together, it tells the story of both mother and baby, and the sacred connection between them.

This space will be dedicated to:
• Birth Photography
• Maternity & Motherhood Sessions
• Fresh 48 + Newborn
• Mommy & Me
• And soon — doula support both in labor and postpartum (coming in the next few months)
I will still be taking other types of sessions, but only on a limited, case-by-case basis as I fully lean into this calling.

This feels so aligned with who I am — not just as a photographer, but as a nurse, a mother, and a woman who deeply believes in the power of birth.
There is something so sacred about the moment a baby enters the world…
…but also in the moment a mother is born.
And those are the moments I want to preserve.

5 expecting mamas (due in March & April)
who would love their birth story documented.
These sessions will be offered at a significantly discounted rate in exchange for allowing me to capture and share your story.
