While taking photos of Lily in Diana’s arms I had a quick flash back to months prior of Diana holding a sonogram of Lily at the same spot. It’s pretty magical! I can’t wait to share more photos of her maternity photos and the newborn/lifestyle photos we did.

I love courthouse weddings. Melissa and Jerry tied the knot days after our recent snow storm. After the ceremony even though it was single digit temperatures we went around and took some portraits. It’s nice having a studio downtown because that is where we ended our portraits and got the feeling back in our fingers and toes. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Tonight while editing my last wedding of 2025 I was watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and it made me think of a photoshoot I did for my friend James and his little man. Who else thinks our kids grown up too fast?

2025 brought more memories for my family and I. Also, we got new pajamas for this year’s photo. This Christmas we had a wonderful surprise visitor: my nephew from California, Atlas. I will include a few extra photos in the mix. I hope you all had/have a great Christmas and holiday season. I am very excited for 2026 and a lot more memories to experience. Happy New Year!

It’s that time of the year when I offer holiday mini sessions in my studio. It can be anything from family photos, maternity photos, and headshots. You are more than welcome to bring your own Christmas or other props. The cost of the mini session is $75. Sessions are 20 minutes long. You will receive all the images from the session through a password protected online gallery, and you will have rights to your photos. My studio is in downtown Frederick. With EllaMae getting knee surgery this summer we cancelled our planned vacations. We managed to go to OC for a few days before her knee surgery (which since has been moved) I love this family tradition. It’s sad for me to see that next summer none of my kids will be able to do the inside rides because they are all too tall.
