Here is the thing.
Female entrepreneurs, we don’t create a business on dreams and luck, it’s the same blood sweat and tears and men (and for many of us it’s extra because we simultaneously carry the household .)

It’s years of missing important events because you have a be the one showing up for your business, it’s working and showing up for clients even when you have just had some of the hardest days of your life, after being up all night with your own children, it’s finding someone to be with your sick child bc you are the only one who can work the job, or having to change your appointments at the last moment because your child is too sick to leave in someone else’s care, it’s balancing the play dates doctors appointments and healthy meals while managing a full work load and showing up fully for your client’s needs.

It’s an endless giving of yourself, but every once in a while you step back and you see what you have created and it overflows your cup… because you did that ! You are a badass woman ! And your kids see that too .

I see you.
I get you.
I walk in your shoes .
I am here to capture your brand along side you ! 📸

Perfection isn't what builds trust. It's how you respond when things don't go as planned.

This sweet newborn session came with a lesson I'll never forget.

After nearly 20 years of photographing families, I made a mistake that I can count on one hand—I had this session on the wrong date in my calendar. The moment I realized it, my heart absolutely sank.

I immediately left what I was doing and messaged the family to apologized, and rushed over as quickly as I could. Their kindness and understanding meant more than I can put into words, and together we were still able to create a beautiful newborn session filled with all the quiet, love-filled moments they had been hoping for.

Owning a business for nearly two decades has taught me that mistakes can happen, no matter how much experience you have. What matters most is taking responsibility, making it right, and continuing to show up with your whole heart.

To this wonderful family—thank you for your grace, your trust, and for allowing me to capture these first precious memories with your beautiful little one. I don't take that privilege lightly, and I'm so grateful you chose me.

And maybe this is a reminder to all of us that none of us are perfect... we're simply doing our best, learning every day, and growing through every experience.
