And just in case you’re new here… I actually hate having my own photo taken. 😂 😭
Butttttt I am the one fixing your hair, fluffing your dress, carrying dog treats in my bag, making weird noises to get the kids to laugh, and yelling “YASSSSS BEAUTIFUL” every 5 seconds. 🤌🏼

My goal isn’t just to take pretty photos. It’s to make you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there, because THAT is where the magic lives.

So yeah…

You’re not just booking a photographer.

You’re booking an experience. 💛📸

STOP. 🥹 ✋🏼

During this family session in Hershey, PA, last week this sweet girl was having a little bit of a rough moment (because let’s be real… family photos can be overstimulating especially when you’re just a tiny human😅).

Instead of pushing through, we all paused and Dad immediately clocked it, walked over, and took a minute to comfort her.

No posing.
No prompting.
Just a dad being exactly what she needed in that moment. 🫶🏼

One thing I ALWAYS tell my families is that we can take breaks whenever we need to. Some of the most meaningful photos happen in between the “smile at the camera” moments anyway.

And honestly? These ended up being some of my favorite images from the entire session. 😭✨

The hugs.
The kisses.
The reassurance.

Honestly… rainy day surprise proposals are so underrated and downtown Frederick absolutely showed off for this one. Proof that you don’t need perfect weather to make absolute magic happen 🫶🏼✨
