Saturday on Peaks Island with Hailey & Bruce 🤍

They’ve been together for 11 years, but you honestly would have thought they had just fallen in love. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, stayed close all day — it was just so real.

I don’t know if I’ve ever photographed two people who seemed more genuinely in love. Nothing felt forced. Nothing felt like it was for the camera. It was just them, their people, an island, and a really freaking perfect day.

11 years in and somehow still giving brand new love.

I don’t know if there are two sweeter people in the world than Jessica & Jake, who were married on Sunday at Cliff House in Cape Neddick, Maine.

Jessica has the gentlest soul, yet such a quiet strength. Jake stood there and spoke every one of his vows from memory, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

From hiking down the cliffs together to wandering nearly every inch of the property with the girls laughing the entire way (while I happily trailed behind documenting it all), every moment felt effortless and full of joy.

Jessica’s mom gave a speech that had me fighting back tears behind the camera, and her dance with her granddad was one of those moments you never forget.

This wedding also marked Chelsea’s and my 200th wedding together—a milestone that somehow found the most perfect couple to celebrate it with. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Cliff House and Amanda of Pine Events Co. for creating such a seamless, beautiful experience from beginning to end.

Jessica & Jake, thank you for trusting us with these memories. We already miss your people.

Our 200th wedding and it couldn’t have been more special. These were shot fully on film at Cliff House with two incredible humans and a dream team of vendors. So grateful for this craft, the people we meet, and the stories we get to hold. Here’s to 200 more. Huge shout out to Northeast Photographic in Bath for the gorgeous scans and that lightning fast24 hour turnaround. Makes creating work like this even sweeter. Thank you to every couple who’s let us tell their story!
