How do sales and season pass sales help B.A Photography

Sales allow me to buy new equipment, pay the $100-200 a trip expenses, repair and clean equipment, donate back into racing, upkeep and maintence on laptop, car, etc.

Sales allow me to keep prices down. I saw a photographer recently post a single night of photos for $175. One night....I sell an entire year season pass for $200. Why? My work is good enough to be featured in magazines, my work has been featured by DirtonDirt, on DirtCar, on IMCA, etc. So why $200 for an entire year? Because I care about the weekly driver and understand how expensive it is on the weekly driver. I could go late model racing...I continue to support weekly racers week in and week out and hope they support me in return.

Anyone who has ever gotten a free photo, a print, a photo for a shirt at no cost....who has seen their car in flyers, on different media sources etc....I do this all generously. I support you in hopes that you support me.

Can't afford a photo? I completely understand....shares, likes, comments, etc still mean the world to me.

Growing up one of my favorite drivers to watch at Freeport was an old beat up hobby stock. He drove a purple el Camino one year and it’s the reason my favorite car is an el Camino. He let me wash his car, sit in it and feel like the coolest kid in the stands when he’d wave and let me down in the pits. His best finish was a DQ’d 3rd place because he had so much smoke rolling out the car.

I’ve never been about the million dollar teams, I’m about the guys who work day in and day out and barely have the $100 for gas to get to the track. It’s why despite the fact I’m a decent photographer I price myself out of the better market because I care about the weekly driver, the families who spend their last few dollars to race, and the ones who give kids like what I used to be a hero to watch weekly. It’s also why I post my photos to Facebook. Everyone deserves a bad ass racing photo
