A little piece of who you are before the next chapter begins. 🤍

I loved this session so much. Getting to capture these sisters together while also celebrating one of them stepping into her senior year was so special. The laughs, the little moments, and just letting them be themselves made this one a favorite.

Family photos are stressful.

There, I said it.

I’ve been on the other side of the camera too. I know what it feels like trying to get everyone dressed, make sure nobody spills something five minutes before leaving, wondering if your kids are going to cooperate, and hoping you’ll somehow get one good photo where everyone is smiling.

So yes… I get it.

But here’s what I’ve learned after photographing so many families:

The magic doesn’t happen when everything is perfect.

It happens when you let go a little.

When you stop worrying about every hair being in place and start chasing your kids. When you laugh at the chaos instead of trying to control it. When you soak in the little moments you’re actually trying to remember.

This family showed up exactly that way. Mom and dad were completely present with their boys. They played, they laughed, they loved on them, and they trusted me to capture the rest.

And that’s why these photos feel the way they do.

Not because everyone behaved perfectly.

Because everyone was fully there. 🤍
