Wynn Family Farm

Wynn Family Farm !! We raise Alpine and Nubian dairy goats and have 1 myotonic goat who will live out her days with us. We have pigs and sheep seasonally....strictly for 4-H.

We have an ever changing number of rabbits, chickens and ducks. Our children show in 4H at the Jackson County fair. We hope to teach them that with hard work, anything is possible!!

Our garden has flourished tremendously!! Pickling cucumbers, tomatoes (canning, Roma, and cherry), egg plant, squash, green beans, jalapeños, and other peppers. I cannot wait to begin harvesting and putting up the produce for our family ♥️

Help the Jackson County 4-H Goat Club Stock the Trailer at the Jackson County Fair! All donations will be donated locally throughout Jackson County. The Jackson County 4-H Goat Club is partnering with Farm Credit Mid America to fight hunger in Jackson County through a food drive at the Jackson County Fair. There will be a trailer set up in front of the Farm Bureau Building during fair week. Please bring your non-perishable donations and help us Stock the Trailer! Thank you to Main Trailers for allowing 4-H to use a trailer during fair week for this project.

Who likes to spend their afternoons dreaming of canning and organizing their supplies? 😍

It’s super muggy here, so I have decided to stay indoors today. I cleaned out our supply cabinet and took a quick inventory. I think I’m good on everything besides regular mouth lids. Jason spent time working on our basement kitchen this past winter. We need a cooktop and shelving in the pantry. Fingers crossed 🤞 , all of our canning will be completed in the basement this year (don’t worry….we have great ventilation, windows, and the kitchen is next to the walkout doors 😉) No packing supplies and finished product up and down the stairs! 😃

Last year Jason built me these wonder raised garden beds! We have had a lot of rain this last week and I’m certain everything would have washed out….but these beds kept everything in great shape!!! You can hear my boots sloshing in the mud 🤦‍♀️😆
