Ever Wondered What a Full Session Looks Like?
Well, here it is! I always strive to make my sessions as fun and natural as possible—capturing both the classic smiling-at-the-camera shots and the authentic, in-between moments that truly showcase your family’s personality.
Here’s a general flow of how a session unfolds:
➖We start with the whole family together, smiling at the camera.
➖Next, we loosen things up with tickles, giggles, and maybe even a few fart noises from me. (Trust me, it works!)
➖Then, we capture the kids—both posed and playful shots.
➖Each child gets a special moment for individual portraits. This is usually done mid-session when they’re comfortable but not yet tired.
➖Parents get their turn for some sweet, intimate shots.
➖Mom & daughters, Dad & sons, then we switch it up with Dad & daughters and Mom & sons.
➖To wrap it up, we do some fun walking shots, giving everyone a chance to be silly and relaxed.
Of course, every family is different, and the session flow may vary. For little ones, I love incorporating playful moments—dads tossing kids in the air, tickle fights, and lots of movement to keep things lighthearted and fun.
At the end of the day, my goal is to capture genuine, sweet moments without forcing a single fake smile. Just you, your family, and lots of love.
