Emily provides the most authentic and stunning landscape images by putting an emphasis on in-camera technique; rather than post capture manipulation.

Emily’s appreciation for stunning landscapes developed from a very young age. She was born and raised in the exquisite foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains; studied Natural Resources and Environmental Management at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa; researched the Kings River Experimental Watersheds with the U.S. Forest Service, and worked in environmental policy at California State Universit

y of Sacramento. Through these extraordinary opportunities, she held on to her love for photography and made the decision to pursue it as a career in the summer of 2017. Entirely self taught, Emily’s style developed naturally through photographing diverse flora and fauna across the contiguous U.S. and Hawaiʻi. Her passion for the outdoors is the driving force behind her emphasis on in-camera technique rather than post-capture manipulation. As a result, her photos reflect the honest and remarkable experiences that she sees and feels every time she picks up her camera.

✨ Aurora over Tunnel View, Yosemite ✨
Still in awe that I was able to witness this — the Northern Lights dancing above one of the most iconic views in California. Moments like this don’t feel real until you’re looking at the back of your camera, heart racing, knowing you just captured something once-in-a-lifetime. 💜💚
