After a lot of thought and many conversations between Pam and me, we've made the decision that we are open to selling Turnmeyers.
This isn't a closing announcement. Turnmeyers is open, we're continuing to operate, and right now it's business as usual.
But after nearly seven years of building Turnmeyers from the ground up, we believe it's time to see if there might be someone out there who would like the opportunity to take what we've built and make it their own.
Turnmeyers has become so much more than a store to us. We've built relationships with thousands of customers, created a strong online and social media presence, developed our own products and brands, and become part of a downtown and community that we genuinely care about.
For the right person—or perhaps a couple or family—there is an opportunity here to step into an established retail business and take it in whatever direction they envision for its next chapter.
We don't know where this will lead. There may be someone interested, and there may not be. We're simply at a point where we feel it's time to open that door and see.
In the meantime, nothing changes for our customers. We're still here. We're still making products, filling orders, bringing in new things and getting ready for the upcoming holiday season.
If you or someone you know might have a serious interest in owning Turnmeyers, please send us a private message. We're happy to have a confidential conversation and share additional information with qualified interested parties.
Pam and I are incredibly proud of what we've built, and if there is someone out there who sees an opportunity in Turnmeyers and wants to write its next chapter, we'd love to talk.
