Raffle session giveaway for Cj Capps!

Last January, I photographed a wedding for such a fun family! The groom’s brother Cj was involved in an accident over the weekend. The last update I read from his family was that he’s in a medically induced coma, and on life support.

Giveaway raffle session for Brycen!

This is Brycen’s story:
When Brycen was a couple months old, he was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). In short, the definition for ALD is, “A rare genetic condition that causes the buildup of very long chain fatty acids (VLCFAs) in the brain. When VLCFAs accumulate, they destroy the protective myelin sheath around nerve cells, responsible for brain function.”
We’ve done countless MRI’s since Brycen was a couple months old with no signs of the disease. On a very dreadful day in the summer of 2020, we learned from an MRI that he showed a small spot on the brain they thought may have been linked to this disease.
In October of 2020, we had a repeat MRI done and the small spot they had seen before started to progress and it was confirmed as a lesion due to ALD. ALD can only be treated with a bone marrow transplant or gene therapy. In Brycens case, we feel gene therapy is the best option, therefore, we are actively trying to pursue gene therapy in Minnesota. We created this page for anyone who wants to follow Brycens story. We also believe in the power of prayer and believe that everything is in God’s plan.

I have met so many amazing families over the years as a photographer! Just the past few days, I’ve heard about two families I’ve photographed that need help from the community. Whether it’s prayers, good vibes, or a small donation - anything counts right now for both of them!

I’ll be holding two giveaway raffle sessions for each of these families, and all proceeds will be donated to each of them. I will share details on these in a little bit.

Howdy! It’s been a while!

Just wanted to give an update on my schedule for portraits this fall! For those who don’t know, Tj & I are getting married September 19th! My schedule will be limited in September, however, I’ll be back in full swing for October.

August dates still available: 22, 23, 29, 30

September dates available: 5, 6, 12, 13

October dates: 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 (Halloween portraits anyone??)
