25 years. Let that sink in…25 YEARS….It honestly doesn’t seem possible.
I can still remember that day. The confusion, the fear, the heartbreak… and watching something unfold that none of us could fully comprehend at the time.
But I also remember what came after.
For a little while, we weren’t divided by politics, opinions, or all the things that seem to separate us now. We were just Americans. We checked on each other. We helped each other. We flew our flags. We were proud of our country and grateful for the people standing beside us.
So today, I’m not posting as a photographer or a business owner. Just as me.
Remembering the people who left home that morning and never came back. The first responders who ran in when everyone else was running out. The families who have carried that loss for 25 years.
And maybe remembering a little bit of who we all were afterward, too.
I wish we could find some of that unity again — without ever having to experience the tragedy that created it.
Never forget. 🇺🇸
