You all know if I have a chance to brag about my assistant, I will… so let me take a moment and tell you how proud I am of her. 🥹

Shannon has been learning the ins and outs of my camera — settings, lighting, timing, and all the little photography basics that make a difference behind the lens. But what’s been the most rewarding for me to watch is how naturally her creative eye has started to shine through. She captures moments so beautifully and sees things in a way that can’t really be taught.

Trusting someone with something so special to me hasn’t always come easy, but with Shannon, it has. Watching her learn has been so special, but I’m even more excited to see what she creates — the things she’s drawn to, the beauty she notices, and the stories she’ll tell through the lens.

Being able to share something I’m so passionate about with someone who genuinely loves learning it has meant more than I can explain.

Proud of you, Shannie. This is only the beginning.
