Rachel McBrayer Photography I'm a mom of two in the process of adopting from India. I've been taking photos for years for family and friends. All photography proceeds go to our adoption.

Happy Veteran's Day! This is my favorite veteran. He's no longer with us but I am so grateful he made it home from WW2. He didn't talk much about the war because it was painful memories for him. I'm thankful for my grandpa and for all the other veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

Somedays you just can't get smiles but that doesn't mean you can't get a good picture. You just have to adjust your expectations and work with what you've got. Kids are super unpredictable. As you can tell my son wasn't enjoying photos today!

So what is my fulltime job? I'm a mom of this cutie. As a mom I wear many hats: teacher, photographer, nurse, coach, cheerleader, confidant, etc. . . . So sad today was our last game of the season. Going to miss coaching this one.
