Captured during a spring rainstorm — from under the covered porch while staying mostly dry.

Sometimes the best lighting isn’t sunlight. The gentle rain muted the background, enriched the colors, and left tiny droplets that made this bloom come alive. It’s one of those moments where slowing down and simply observing nature really pays off.

Shot handheld with the Sony A1 and Sony 200-600mm.

Ryan Murphy on Casting Charlie Hunnam in Monster: The Ed Gein Story

Ryan Murphy revealed why he chose Charlie Hunnam for the role, saying:
“Like it or not, the world is a little kinder to beautiful people or people who have charisma. And if you look at the trope of the serial killer, it’s very rare to find anyone who didn’t have that.”

Hunnam’s natural charm made the role even more unsettling — the perfect mix of attraction and horror. He admitted he panicked after accepting it, calling it “a horrible mistake,” but changed his mind once he read Ian Brennan’s psychological scripts.

To prepare, he studied rare Gein tapes, used subtle prosthetics, and even changed his voice. The result? A performance that’s both haunting and heartbreakingly human.

Whether you loved or hated the season, everyone agrees — Charlie Hunnam was unforgettable.
