My artistic impression of viewing the lunar eclipse at Vermillion Lakes in Banff NP.
I created this composite image using individual photos of the moon shot with 300mm lens and a spare camera body (shown in the second image). The landscape was shot during the early hours of the eclipse with a wide angle lens. I think that the composite image captures the feeling of the night. Perhaps even better than the photo in my previous post which was shot without altering the trajectory and the size of the moon. 🙂
