Happy 4th!! šŸ™‚

As stated in my contract , holidays and busy seasons can make my normal turn around extend a little longer! However, I know how exciting and anxious it can be waiting for photos!!! If you have had a photoshoot with me in the last 3 weeks, your photos will be out this week! By Wednesday šŸ«¶šŸ¼

This is my first 4th off with my family in 4 years and Iā€™m so excited. Thank yall for being patient. I canā€™t wait to share these albums with you šŸ„°

This beautiful couples previously book photographer became unavailable close to their wedding day.. I reached out and they allowed me the honor to capture it. I got up at 5:30am, to ride to Huntsville to be there in time to capture their special day.. and something this gorgeous bride said, will stick with me foreverā€¦

She said ā€œ Iā€™m so glad you werenā€™t a scamā€

And no this wasnā€™t in a rude, mean or derogatory way!! She thanked me an endless amount of times for showing up so last minute for her..

But it made me realize how scared couples are these days to book a wedding photographer . The amount of scam post , or post where their photographer didnā€™t show up or showed up and LEFT. Iā€™ve seen it all. Where they never heard back after booking and paying a deposit .. where a photographer shot their entire wedding and LOST THEIR PHOTOS, or even worse.. just ghosted and they never even received them.

As someone whoā€™s done this for 8 years, I couldnā€™t imagine ever doing that, especially on someoneā€™s wedding day. ļæ¼No one deserves that. And i couldnā€™t imagine how terrifying it is to be asked to pay so much money and just putting trust that the person youā€™re paying will at least show up. šŸ„ŗ

Anyway, rant over. Iā€™m glad I had the opportunity to capture it. It was beautiful. I only worked with them for maybe 3 hours that day, but you can just tell they had the purest hearts and I hope they receive all the love , happiness and joy they deserve. ā¤ļø
