The sheets set is always interesting to me.

Because it’s usually the last thing my clients expect themselves to do.

They walk in nervous. Maybe a little unsure. Wondering how the hell they’re supposed to get comfortable in front of a camera when they barely feel comfortable in their own skin some days.

And then we shoot.

You laugh. You loosen up. You start seeing yourself differently. And somewhere near the end, I’ll hear: “Okay… I think I’m ready for the sheets.”

And I swear, I get it.

Because there’s something about being stripped down that goes way beyond the physical.

It’s raw.
It’s vulnerable.
It’s letting go of the things you’ve been carrying around—the insecurities, the fear of being seen, the constant feeling that you need to fix or change something before you’re allowed to feel beautiful.

There’s nothing left to hide behind.
And somehow… that can feel incredibly freeing.

The woman who walked in nervous and unsure is suddenly standing there like — Oh. There I am.

Maybe that’s why the sheets set is one of my favorites.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop hiding. 🖤
