These baseball junkies’ schedules finally slowed down long enough for us to get their Personality Minis done and I just have one thing to say..these Capps boys are way too handsome for their own good😍

They brought all the personality, all the charm, and somehow managed to make me wonder where the last 10 years went. I was looking back through old galleries and realized I’ve been photographing these boys since Axl was just a baby in 2015! Time is rude.

Also, PSA: You’re never too old for pictures with your mama! So glad Raven Parnell Capps jumped in some of these!

Cierra is already ahead of the game. 🎓✨

Senior year hasn’t even officially started yet, and she’s already checking senior photos off the list.

Honestly, I love summer sessions for this reason. Senior year is packed with so many exciting milestones, so why not start celebrating before the craziness begins?

We spent the evening exploring downtown Lake City, chasing good light, dodging traffic, and laughing the whole way through. (A special thank you to Mama Heather for acting as our crossing guard and keeping us from getting run over. 😂)

Cierra is absolutely beautiful, so sweet, and made this session so much fun!!

I have been soooo behind on posting sneaks lately! 😅
Please know, if I haven’t posted sneak peeks from our time together, it has absolutely nothing to do with how much I loved it. I promise there are so many sessions I adore that never make it to social media. (It’s literally because life has been life-ing over here, and posting has taken a back seat)

I’m still over here obsessing over your galleries, delivering photos, chasing kiddos, and trying to keep all the ducks in the rows😅

“For the Days You’ll Miss” sessions are officially open.
These are slow, cozy sessions centered around the little things that already somehow feel fleeting. Bed jumping, messy hair, your favorite quilt, cuddles, chaos, and all the in-between moments that make up this season of life.
I want these to feel relaxed and unhurried. Less like a traditional mini session and more like a morning spent with your babies exactly as they are right now.

One of my favorite parts about these sessions is that they can mean something a little different for everyone.
Of course they’re beautiful for moms and their babies, but I also want to open them up to grandmas, aunts, cousins, sisters, or lifelong friends too. All the women who help shape childhood in quiet little ways.

I also love the idea of incorporating quilts or blankets from home if you have one that feels special to your family somehow. Something passed down, well loved, handmade, or simply familiar. Those little details are usually the things that end up meaning even more years from now.

“For the Days You’ll Miss” sessions are $650 and include your full gallery. A $150 deposit is due to lock in your time slot.

Ashlyn and Brylan got married at The Chateau in Mayo which happens to be the same place Ashlyn’s parents got married years ago, which made the whole day feel even more meaningful from the very beginning.
Surrounded by their immediate family, they promised forever in a day that felt slow, intentional, simple, and classy in all the best ways.

After their intimate ceremony, we made a little adventure out of it and headed to Palm Coast for portraits at Washington Oaks before ending the night on the beach at sunset.
One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Ashlyn’s best friend and hairdressers literally cut her veil to make it sit just right in her hair😅 (fun fact: Ashlyn wasn’t going to do a veil at all, but I told her she would want it for photos.. so she took one for the team and ordered a $20 one off Amazon😂 my girl!)

Ashlyn & Bryan also hand wrote cards for every single guest and used them as seating assignments for the ceremony, which honestly says everything about the kind of people they are.

Every part of the day felt thoughtful without trying too hard. Just full of love, intention, and the people who mattered most.

I could photograph wedding days like this every single day. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Mcferrin!

I almost talked myself out of offering these this summer. Mostly because life has felt a little chaotic lately and I kept thinking maybe I waited too long.
But every time I come back to these photos, I know I’d regret not doing them.
They feel slow and honest and like a little snapshot of this season with your babies before everything changes again.

I know technically it’s “just” Pre-K, but this year felt really big to us. A whole year of early mornings, routines, new friends, big emotions, and getting a little taste of real school… so we needed a photoshoot 😜

One of my favorite parts was finding little notes from Harper tucked into Gretta’s backpack almost every week. I started saving them, and now we have a whole bag full of “Harper mail.” 😂🥹

And technically Ezra attended LCA, but he’s still VPK too, so of course he had to join our little graduation photoshoot.

So proud of these big kids and this sweet season of growing up right in front of us. Kindergarten, here we come. 🤍
