Family photos don’t have to feel like getting everyone ready for picture day.

You don’t have to spend the whole session telling them to smile, stand still, look at me, stop touching your brother, or please for the love of everything just cooperate for five minutes. 😂

In fact, I’d rather you didn’t.

Let them run. Let them be ridiculous. Pick them up when they ask. Tickle them. Chase them. Love on them.

I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m also going to leave room for your family to be exactly who they are.

Because ten years from now, I don’t think you’re going to miss the perfectly posed version of them.

You’re going to miss this version of them. 🤎

And honestly, a little rain wasn’t about to dim the love that surrounded Taylor and Ahmadd. It only made the in between moments seem a little more intimate, a little more magical, and a lot more memorable!

Safe to say that this flower truck minis were EVERYTHING I hoped they’d be! Cue the sunshine, the blooms, the smilies and the dreamiest set up for capturing spring memories!

I love love love when the littles in my sessions tell me what they want me to take pictures of!

When the babes are comfortable in front of the camera, Mom and Dad can relax too!

Thinking back to this late summer session where we picked flowers and gave kisses to little sister! I’m sure now that she’s earth side, she’s getting kisses from her siblings endlessly!

Happy graduation season to every single person crossing a stage, earning a certificate, finishing a program, or simply reaching a goal they once thought felt impossible.

Whether it took four years, ten years, a detour, a pause, a restart, or a complete change of direction, you still did it. And that achievement deserves to be celebrated!

There is no “right” timeline for becoming who you’re meant to be!

Congratulations to the graduates, the late-night studiers, the parents balancing it all, the career changers, the first-generation students, and everyone in between. Your hard work mattered. Your journey mattered. And you made it here!

And a special shout out to Amber! You did the damn thing girl!
