I’m still overwhelmed by this weekend.

Chad Stickel, Matt Hardbarger, and everyone at Bramy’s Bags and Boards — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The gift of custom bags with my emblem on them, glow in the dark and all… completely caught me off guard. It honestly took my breath away.

My wife and I, and our two girls, shared a happy cry 🫶💜

What most people don’t realize is how deeply something like this can affect someone who’s spent years just trying to survive, push forward, and keep carrying weight without slowing down. You guys touched me in a place very few people ever do. Not because of the gift itself — but because of the thought, the respect, the care, and the love behind it.

For a moment, I didn’t feel overlooked. I felt seen.

That means more to me than I can properly explain.

I’ll carry this one with me for a very long time. Thank you, truly.

I always feel uncomfortable as a photographer shooting during our Nation’s National Anthem.
As both a civilian and a veteran, it feels unnatural to keep the camera up during moments meant for respect.

But if I hadn’t… nobody would’ve seen it.

This Memorial Day weekend, may we never forget the ones who gave everything for the flag, the freedom, and the people standing beneath it.

God bless our troops — fallen, missing, and never forgotten. 🇺🇸
