One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to photograph the families who come back to Galveston year after year. 🥹🌊

I’ll meet a tiny little toddler one summer, and then somehow they’re a full-blown kid the next time I see them. New babies, missing teeth, taller kids, different haircuts, growing families… I get to watch it all happen through my camera.

There’s something really special about becoming a tiny part of a family’s annual Galveston tradition — seeing their faces again, catching up on life, and documenting another little chapter of their story.

Honestly, y’all can keep coming back. I’ll keep my camera ready. 🤍

Guys, check it out — TREES!! 🌳😂

Y’all know I love my beach sessions… but every once in a while, I get to return to my roots (literally) over in Wharton County and photograph in the very places that inspired my photography journey long, long ago.

Before I moved closer to surf & sand, I was born and raised in the country — where old oak trees towered over roads that had been winding their way through the landscape for decades before I ever came along.

And there’s just something magical about that. ✨

Maybe it’s the nostalgia. Maybe it’s the trees. Maybe it’s getting to photograph somewhere that feels a little bit like home.

Either way… I’ll always have a soft spot for a good country session. 🤎

YOU GUUUUYSSS. I’M BACK. 😭📷🫶🏼

And by “back,” I mean my Instagram is finally no longer being held hostage by whatever technical situation was happening behind the scenes. 😂

For MONTHS I couldn’t post. Couldn’t update. Couldn’t do basically anything. And meanwhile I’ve been sitting on a camera roll FULL of gorgeous people, pretty light, fun shoots, and photos I’ve been dying to share with you.

So… HI. HELLO. WE’RE ALIVE. 😂

This summer has also been a whole thing.

The boys home for summer + a new baby + trying to figure out who the heck I am as Mom of 3 has been… humbling. 😂

It has been beautiful and chaotic and exhausting and really, really sweet all at the same time. I’m so grateful for this season, but I’m also not above admitting that I’ve been counting down the days until I could see a little bit of the light at the end of the postpartum tunnel. 👶🏼🍼

Somewhere in the middle of all of that, Instagram took a vacation without me. So between that and, ya know, keeping three tiny humans alive, I’ve been a little quiet around here.

Thank you for being patient with me. Thank you for still being here. And thank you to all of you who have continued to trust me with your families, your seniors, your stories, your weird little moments, your big moments, ALL of it. 🥹

I have SO. MUCH. TO. SHARE.

So consider this my official re-entry into society. (I hope?) 😂
