🔥 THROWBACK THURSDAY: Same fireplace. Whole different Phoenix.

That first photo was the day we brought this fireplace into the studio.

The walls weren’t painted. The space was still brand new to us. We were basically staring at an empty room and imagining what it could become.

Fast forward to last week… and LOOK AT HER. 😍

Same fireplace. Same studio.

But now it’s surrounded by everything we’ve built—the sets, the details, the luxury, and SO many women who have stepped in front of my camera since that first day.

Sometimes you don’t realize how far you’ve come until you look back at where you started.

And I think this little before & after says it all. ❤️

I’m never going to brag about delivering 100+ images from a session 😂

You know what I WILL brag about?

Creating 10 images you’re absolutely obsessed with.

The kind you can’t stop looking at. The ones you immediately know belong on your wall. The ones your kids will still have long after they’ve forgotten the password to whatever cloud they’re stored in. 😂

I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and one thing I know for sure: MORE doesn’t mean BETTER.

I’d rather slow down, pose you correctly, pay attention to the details, get the lighting right and create photographs that actually deserve to be printed.

That’s why across all our Phoenix studios we are putting such a huge focus on albums, canvases and beautiful printed photographs.

One day, these photographs will mean more to you than they do today.

That’s something I’ve come to understand in a very different way lately.

We don’t believe photographs were meant to live forever on a phone.

Phones get replaced.
Hard drives fail.
Links expire.
And thousands of images disappear into camera rolls we rarely look through again.

But a photograph you can hold is different.

That’s why I’ve become even more passionate about the printed side of what we create.

Our luxury albums aren’t an “extra.”

They’re the part that lasts.

They’re beautifully handcrafted pieces filled with photographs of you, exactly as you are in this chapter of your life.
