I will no longer be able to shoot at football games due to the new regulations.
It’s getting a little crowded down there folks… Starting this week, all sideline media, photographers, reporters, etc…must follow the guidelines per the informational flyer attached. This will pertain to all WISD events. No other individuals will be allowed to be on the field (track area)(coach’s families approved), nor sitting on the baseline during gymnasium events.
Professional photographers providing a service or simply enjoying a hobby, must provide a proof of liability insurance as well as clear a basic background check at Central Office. Passes will be made ready and available at the home ticket booth the night of the event.
The only student photographers allowed on the sideline are those that are enrolled in either yearbook or photography at WHS.
We love people capturing memories, but for student safety, we need to know who you are, and we need to reduce the amount of moving parts in and around our participants! Thank you for your understanding!
WISD also reserves the right to remove/revoke media passes to any individual that had previously been allowed access, simply “in the best interest of our students.” It is a privilege to stand next to our young men, women, and coaches and it is expected to be treated as such!
