I’m such a nerd! I can’t keep a straight face in front of a camera, not even a cellphone camera. *** This ended up being long, and maybe a little emo 🖤 🤟

This was my booth today at The Gathering at Moreau Commons. The first of many wonderful events here, I’m sure! I was feeling cute in my theFINDlab — Official merch; it certainly helped start a few conversations.

As I grow in my life as does my business. I’m proud to say that after 15 years my business’s presence is starting to reflect who I am as a person and as a photographer. Not just what every young entrepreneur thinks their “ideal client” wants to see.

Chaos. Tradition. Life.

“Life these days” feels like chaos. And your chaos is definitely different than mine, and absolutely different than the next person. Don’t be scared of it; embrace it. None of this is permanent.

We take tradition from our family, whether it’s waving goodbye from the front porch as your loved ones drive off, or just a simple way you do something; just like Grandma did. These are the things that ground us and connect us to our past. These will be the things your kids quietly absorb like the little sponges they are, and end up bestowing on their own kids. That’s kind of special.

We only get one go on this rock, wake up and live fam. Stay weird.
